We have been giving away templates, clauses and AI usage for 7 years now.
The value that our 80,000 users got from Genie (for free) would have cost $millions if they'd used external counsel. This makes us hugely proud, but we can’t grow like that forever.
We need to think about what’s next for Genie.
We have big plans for the coming months including:
A. In our case, Legal AI can accurately draft, review, edit, red-line, and comment on legal documents (i.e. letters, policies or contracts), at the same quality and accuracy of a lawyer or paralegal.
In other cases, Legal AI can assist with legal discovery, due diligence, litigation and compliance monitoring.
A. Genie AI is very accurate, as rated by lawyers. Our proprietary datasets, and our own surveys has the following conclusions:.
We will push these numbers higher as our models improve.
We have a panel of world-class senior legal advisors who also codify their guidance into training our models so they're getting better every week.
A. Yes of course! You will be able to import your own google doc or word templates to Genie AI. Once imported you can edit these, and gather usage data, including which areas most frequently get negotiated.
A. With our legal document generator, our ‘Draft/Create’ feature allows you to create custom templates for almost any document (we list a few popular types below):

A. Currently Genie AI supports all jurisdictions, however we have only quality tested for the USA and the UK.
Note: Genie supports state-level jurisdictions, as well as US Federal jurisdiction.
Also note: Genie does not provide legal advice, it is a tool designed to be used by legally-competent individuals to assist with their workflows.
A. Currently Genie AI supports all languages, however we have only quality tested for English. We do know of many users using Genie in Spanish, German, French and Portuguese successfully.
A. To use a template first select “Template library” from the left menu, then go into a template you want to use. From there you can click on the “Use Template” button, which will open the template in Ask mode. You can edit or ask questions about the template here. Once you are ready you can export or share the finished document with others.
A. If you run out of documents, you can easily upgrade to enable more document usage, just click on the ‘upgrade’ button at the top right while logged in, or alternatively speak to us at “sales@genieai.co” to discuss upgrade options.
A. You can have an unlimited number of non-AI documents in Genie.
A. You can cancel your plan at any time and we will not renew your plan at the end of the subscription time. At this time, we do not offer any refunds.
A. Yes, for paid accounts. Email Alex on community@genieai.co. Alex is based in the UK, so contact early in the day for your best chance of a quick response if you're on Pacific time.
